As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to the company’s cloud-first strategy, supporting the migration from traditional on-premise infrastructure to Azure, while also leading robust disaster recovery and backup processes. You’ll work across multiple sites and systems, bridging legacy tech with modern cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape the future of IT infrastructure across the group. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Azure data centre migrations, ensuring scalability and securityMaintain and optimise on-premise infrastructure (VMware/vSphere, Windows Server, physical data centres)Deliver resilient disaster recovery and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Rubrik)Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams across UK and EU sitesSupport network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, Cisco) as requiredTravel to manufacturing and office locations (e.g. North West, East of England, Ireland) on occasion What We’re Looking ForProven experience in Azure migration and cloud servicesStrong technical background in VMware, Windows Server, and traditional infrastructureKnowledge of backup and disaster recovery technologiesComfortable with network fundamentals, such as routing, switching, and CiscoHands-on, proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skillsBased in the North West, preferably; however, UK-wide applicants will be consideredWilling to travel on occasion to other locations across the UK.
