Main duties of the job
This role focuses on creating, maintaining, analysing, and reporting accurate and consistent data to communicate and escalate People Relations concerns, identify areas for improvement, and support continuous development.
You will lead support for DHU and the People & Culture team regarding People Relations responsibilities, including training for Advisors and managers, procedures, best practices, and legislation.

Job responsibilities
* Serve as a primary contact and expert on people relations issues to support team development and quality improvement.
* Utilise trained mediators and other means for conflict resolution, aiming for informal resolution where possible.
* Focus on risk mitigation in all people relations activities.
* Regularly review all cases using the people relations tracker, ensure data accuracy, and escalate concerns with solutions in mind.
* Ensure documentation is completed and maintained in accordance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Partner with leadership and legal counsel on complex issues.
* Analyze procedure adherence and identify areas for improvement.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good general education, professional degree level.
* Relevant HR qualification (CIPD level 5 preferred, or working towards it).
* At least 2 years of Employee Relations experience.
* Experience in reviewing and creating policies and procedures.
* Healthcare sector HR experience is desirable.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities efficiently.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
* Confident in professional challenging and providing feedback.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* Positive and proactive attitude.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
