About us

Toothcare Dental is a small business in Gillingham ME8 0HT. We are collaborative and innovative.

We are looking for a full time experienced receptionist to join our fantastic team in our busy, NHS & private Dental Practice. The successful candidate must have a caring, professional attitude and must be able to work well under pressure. We are looking for a person that can think on their feet, juggle more than one task at a time and be able to work well as part of a team as well as on their own. Previous experience in Dentistry preferred but not essential, but must have had previous experience in a role of receptionist. Full training will be provided for the right applicant. The practice has 3 surgeries with a varied range of visiting specialist Clinicians and permanent Clinicians in place. Excellent communication skills are essential with a polite telephone manner and caring professional work ethic.

We have an amazing team of people and due to internal promotion we are now hoping to find that extra special person that will become part of the Toothcare family.

Regular social events

Good organisational skills are a must and experienced using Word and Excel preferred.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years reception experience.

The post is Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month is contracted, however we very rarely work on Saturday.

Uniforms provided after completing 3 months probationary period

We are looking for the right person to join our team with an immediate start, however we are happy to wait for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

* Greet and assist visitors at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
* Manage incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
* Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and other administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to support office operations and enhance efficiency.
* Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to create a positive first impression.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,000.00 per year
