Applications Engineer – CNC Turning (Machine Tools)Location: Coventry (with UK & European travel)Salary: £45–57k + Company Car + Pension + HealthcareA leading CNC machine tool and automation solutions provider is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced Applications Engineer with a strong turning background to support high-end turnkey projects across the UK and Europe.The RoleThis is a hands-on, customer-facing role where your expertise in CNC turning will take centre stage. You’ll play a key part in delivering complete turnkey solutions—from developing machining strategies and programming to on-site commissioning and training.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop efficient turning strategies and CNC programs (Fanuc / Okuma )Run prove-outs and carry out First Article InspectionsEnsure all project requirements and quality benchmarks are metDeliver on-site training to customer operators and programmersSupport integration of CAM software and simulation toolsTravel across the UK and Europe as neededAbout You4+ years’ experience in CNC machine tools or production engineeringStrong background in CNC turning – ideally with programming and/or setting experienceSkilled in Fanuc and/or Okuma controlsConfident communicator who’s self-driven and organisedCAM experience a plus, but not essentialWhat’s on OfferDirect involvement in advanced CNC turning and automation projects£45–57k salary + company car + pension + private healthcareA collaborative, supportive team with real progression opportunitiesEnjoy solving complex machining challenges and working with the latest CNC technology?
