A welcoming specialist school in Hermitage is looking for a Complex Needs Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning needs, and associated medical or physical requirements. As a Complex Needs Assistant, you\'ll help pupils access education in a way that suits them - supporting communication, personal care, learning activities, and emotional wellbeing within a calm, structured environment.
The Complex Needs Assistant role will include:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting with personal care, mobility, and sensory needs
* Helping pupils engage with learning through play and interaction
* Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
Role details:
* Location: Hermitage
* Pay: 89-100 per day
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
* Start: ASAP
* Contract: Long-term, full-time
