Site Supervisor (Civil/Mechanical)- Solar Energy Project Location: Split between Exeter and Buckinghamshire Start Date: From July 26 Duration: 14 months Hours: 40 hours per week Engagement: Contract A new contract assignment is available for a Site Supervisor (Civil/Mechanical ) to support a major Solar energy construction project. This role is ideal for professionals with strong civil/mechanical engineering expertise and practical on site experience within large scale infrastructure or energy projects. Key Requirements Civil Engineering qualification Minimum 3 years’ relevant site experience, including: Knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety Experience in general civil construction, reinforcement detailing, and checking Renewable energy project experience preferred (substations, cable installation, inverter/PV installation, civil BoP works) SMSTS or NEC4 Supervision accreditation (or equivalent) Full UK driving license Role Responsibilities The Site Supervisor will support project delivery through comprehensive on site oversight, including: Construction Supervision Monitor site progress against programme and prepare review reports Assess work quality, including pre/post‑concrete inspections Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved RAMS Review contractor documentation such as RAMS, TMP and CMP Project Support Contribute to monthly progress meetings and reporting Maintain trackers for construction activities and deliveries Assist the Project Manager with EPC/ICP contract obligations Support in assessing milestone applications Health, Safety & Quality Conduct H&S audits/observations Report and log NCRs Perform snagging and coordinate close out with contractors Commissioning & Interfaces Monitor mechanical and civil commissioning activities Support Project Manager with third party interfaces Assist in applications for Provisional Acceptance Certificates Environmental & Compliance Ongoing review of planning conditions and consents Liaise with Environmental Clerk of Works as required How to Apply If you meet the requirements and are interested in contributing to a major renewable energy project, please submit your CV and availability.
