Role
As a newly created position, you will have the opportunity to shape the role and lead a team, most of whom are studying for an accounting qualification.
You will lead the team to achieve monthly close and management accounts, ensuring timely delivery for decision making.
You will business partner across the organisation, fostering collaboration between financial and non‑financial areas.
You will own all cost lines in the P & L, ensure accuracy in accruals and prepayments, and provide robust variance analysis.
An excellent eye for detail is required to support the statutory audit process and a sound investigative approach to maintain financial integrity.
This busy and varied senior management accounting role requires prior management experience.
Candidate
You are a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA experienced management accountant who loves developing and nurturing a committed team.
With a hands‑on style, you enjoy contributing to your team's success and coaching when necessary.
Excellent communication skills enable you to manage effectively and successfully partner across finance and non‑finance divisions.
You must reside within approximately one hour commute of Hull.
