Location: Swindon (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
Salary: Up to £90,000

Role Summary:
This is a high-impact legal role supporting corporate activity including acquisitions, joint ventures, and wider strategic investments. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business to provide legal insight on deal structuring, manage due diligence, and ensure post-transaction success. The position blends transactional focus with broader legal advisory responsibilities in a regulated setting.
Responsibilities
* Advise on transactions and investments: Provide commercially focused legal advice
* Support and lead negotiations: Ensure alignment with legal and business strategy
* Oversee due diligence: Identify legal risks and ensure appropriate mitigation
* Draft and negotiate legal documents: SPAs, shareholder agreements, and ancillary contracts
* Collaborate across the business: Influence strategic decisions and support legal compliance
* Contribute to legal policy and governance: Help shape internal processes and guidance
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor (4–6 PQE) with a strong Corporate/M&A background
* Proven experience managing transactions end to end
* Good understanding of corporate law, due diligence, and investment structures
* Experience in regulated or financial services environments is advantageous
* Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
* Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
