WALSTEAD ROCHE, one of the UK's leading web offset printers has the following vacancy for their site based in Cornwall:
Engineering Compliance Supervisor

39 hours per week average across Monday-Friday

Monday-Thursday – 8.00am-17.00pm
Friday – 8.00am-16.00pm
1 hour lunch break
· Work with the Engineering Team Leader (ETL) to identify and then manage all Engineering related compliance requirements.
· To ensure that all documentation relating to compliance regulations is continuously up-to-date, maintained to the required standard and complies with current legislation.
· Assist the ETL to coordinate/plan parts and resources for machine servicing, repair interventions and reactionary b/down repairs.
· Ensure the MaintainX CMMS system is fully utilised by everyone to achieve maximum Engineering efficiency. Report deviations to ETL.
· Manage on-site contractors to achieve specific job/task, ensuring RAMS are received, reviewed with HSE, implemented and complied with.
· Order parts as required and ensure all consumables stock and parts stock is correctly stored away in correct locations and the stock system (MaintainX) is updated.
· Work with Head of ETL to keep repairs spend within budgeted levels.

The successful candidate must have:
· Highly Computer literate.
· Experience with Engineering compliance tasks including some knowledge and understanding of related legislation.
· HSE Qualification preferred – i.e. IOSH as minimum.
· Mechanically/Electrically minded with some basic engineering/electrical experience or knowledge - Apprenticeship or Engineering Qualification preferred.
· Excellent organiser both with documents and personnel. Management qualification/experience preferred.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Confident to liaise with personnel at a senior level both internally and externally.
