The Role

This newly created role is designed to strengthen Wrendale Designs' presence with UK national and key retail accounts.

Reporting to Head of Sales, this position is accountable for delivering sales growth, building and maintaining strong relationships, increasing sales, improving merchandising, and delivering exceptional customer service for high-value accounts, and ensuring that our products are represented in a way that reflects the quality, sustainability, and brand values of Wrendale Designs.

Key Responsibilities

· Account Management & Growth

· Manage a portfolio of national and key stockists, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.

· Develop and implement tailored account plans for each customer, incorporating Wrendale's commercial, environmental, and brand objectives.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK.

· Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to monitor performance, present new products, and discuss category growth opportunities.

Merchandising & Brand Presentation

· Work with stockists to ensure Wrendale products are displayed to maximise visibility and sales.

· Conduct store visits to review and improve product presentation, point of sale, and brand standards.

· Promote Wrendale's B Corp certification and sustainability credentials within key accounts.

Commercial Negotiation

· Negotiate trading terms, promotional activity, and space allocation with buyers to maximise sales and profitability.

Sales Planning & Forecasting

· Provide accurate sales forecasts to Head of Sales and contribute to overall UK sales planning.

· Monitor sell-through data and identify trends to aid with stock planning and product launches.

Personal Competencies

· Proven track record in managing national or key retail accounts within giftware, homeware, stationery, or a related sector.

· Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

· Highly organised, commercially astute, and target driven.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to balance commercial objectives with Wrendale's sustainability and brand values.
