About Us
The Strategic Commissioning and Procurement Team sits within the Finance Directorate and supports, directs, and guides all Directorates across the Council.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the team, passionate about ensuring high-quality service provision with a focus on improving outcomes for the residents of Middlesbrough.
The role involves working with service providers, partners, and stakeholders. Therefore, strong, trusted, and effective relationship-building skills are essential. Candidates should be creative, solution-focused, and possess good IT skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Knowledge or awareness of social care services would be advantageous.
