Introduction
This role operates within established systems and procedures to manage the traffic planning team and driver operations, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency and service excellence.
Key Duties
* Managing the planning team and daily transport and logistics activities.
* Must have previous transport planning management experience
* Delivering effective route planning and customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation for Operator's Licences and Driver's Working Time Directive.
Requirements
1. Ability to manage, lead and develop drivers, transport planners and the Driver Fleet Coordinator.
2. Ability to meet budgeted operational targets.
3. Ability to support commercial growth through cost control.
4. Ability to monitor and improve fleet utilisation.
5. Participation in group compliance meetings.
6. Implementing and managing Health and Safety procedures.
7. Working with the GM on annual budget planning.
8. Contributing to Weekly Flash Report Meetings.
