Are you someone who enjoys supporting children and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for during the school day? I am looking for Welfare Assistants to work on a supply basis in Blackburn, Accrington or Darwen. This flexible role is perfect for someone who's passionate about pupil welfare and well-being, and who can jump in to help when needed. What You'll Be Doing:Helping to monitor and care for pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and transitions. Providing emotional support and a friendly, caring presence throughout the day. Working closely with school staff to follow safeguarding and welfare procedures. Keeping accurate records of any incidents, first aid, or concerns. What We're Looking For:Someone with experience working with children in a school, nursery or care setting. A caring, calm and approachable person who children feel comfortable with. Someone who's reliable, flexible and happy to work on a day-to-day supply basis. Basic first aid knowledge is a plus - but not essential if you're willing to learn!Great communication and a team-player attitude. Important Information:All applicants must be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS Check and provide references. Your CV should cover your last 10 years of work history, with explanations for any gaps. You must have the legal right to work in the UK and be available for registration.
