The role
As Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the Oxford office while supporting the wider practice. You’ll be the go-to person for administration, facilities, people processes, and day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing administrative staff, resources, and office operations
* Overseeing facilities and creating a safe, efficient, positive workplace
* Acting as an HR liaison across employee lifecycle activities and training
* Supporting office budgeting and resource planning
* Providing high-quality admin support (documents, travel, supplies, branding compliance)
* Coordinating tenders, bids, meetings, and stakeholder communications
* Managing records, compliance, CRM data, and internal systems
* Supporting culture, inclusivity, professional development, and team engagement
What we’re looking for
* Proven administration experience
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
* Excellent organisational and planning skills
* Experience managing people (desirable)
* Knowledge of the construction or built environment sector (desirable, not essential)
