Manchester — Hybrid (3 office / 2 WFH)

Through our SaaS-enabled marketplace, we connect beauty, wellness, lifestyle and DTC brands with professional creators to deliver a consistent stream of high-quality UGC every month.


We partner with some of the most exciting brands in the UK, helping them unlock performance across social and paid media while championing the creators behind the content.


We’re looking for a Sales Exec/Business Development Executive who is confident starting commercial conversations, building relationships with ambitious brands, and helping ARAY scale through a predictable, outbound-led new business engine.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving new business opportunities for ARAY by opening high-quality conversations with the right brands.


You’ll work closely with the Founder, Account Executives, and Marketing team to build pipeline, refine messaging, and ensure ARAY is consistently speaking to brands that are a strong fit.


This is a new business, outbound-led role with clear targets, strong support, and a huge opportunity for progression.


Day-to-day:

* Identify and prospect target brands across DTC, beauty, wellness, lifestyle and social-first sectors
* Run outbound activity across LinkedIn, email, and other relevant channels
* Personalise outreach to start meaningful, relevant conversations (not spray-and-pray)
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure strong fit before booking meetings
* Book high-quality sales meetings for yourself/Founder
* Maintain accurate CRM records and keep pipeline clean and up to date
* Use content, case studies and POVs in outreach
* Feedback on what messaging is resonating with prospects
* Continuously test, refine and improve outbound messaging and approach
* Support pitches and new business conversations where relevant
* Contribute ideas to improve ARAY’s sales process, tooling and commercial strategy


Who we're looking for:


The ideal person is commercially curious, confident communicating with senior stakeholders, and motivated by results.


Experience
* 1–3+ years experience (Business Development, Sales, Commercial, partnerships or growth roles)
* Agency, marketing, SaaS or startup experience is a strong plus
* Comfortable speaking to founders, marketing managers and growth leads
* Bonus if you understand content, paid media or organic socials
* Experience with outbound prospecting
* Familiarity with CRM tools (Apollo/Pipedrive), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar is helpful


You should be:

* A confident communicator who builds trust quickly
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Curious and commercially minded always digging deeper into client needs
* Resilient and motivated, comfortable with outreach and rejection
* Curious and commercially minded, always asking why
* Someone who takes ownership of targets and outcomes
* Interested in growing into a more senior commercial or sales role
