Overview
Do you love bringing people together, lifting spirits, and making meaningful moments happen? At CrossReach, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to enrich the lives of older people through creative and therapeutic activities.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging sessions – from arts and crafts to music, reminiscence, or gentle movement – tailored to individual care plans. You’ll also organise outings and work closely with the wider team to make sure each person feels included, valued, and supported.
This role includes some evening and weekend work, and ideally, you’ll have an SVQ 3 in Social Care or be happy to work towards it. Strong organisational skills, motivation, and basic computer confidence are essential.
Respect for our Christian ethos is key, and you’ll be comfortable supporting service users in worship or spiritual practice, in line with their personal beliefs.
You must be a member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC (or willing to register before starting).
If you’re passionate about making a difference and helping others live full, joyful lives – we’d love to hear from you.
