As a Senior Care Worker on nightshift, you will provide leadership and hands-on support that protects wellbeing and dignity throughout the night. You will be someone residents trust and colleagues can rely on.
What Your Night Could Involve
* Leading and supporting the night team to ensure high standards of compassionate care
* Overseeing medication processes, including safe administration and auditing
* Acting as a key worker and keeping accurate, person‑centred care plans up to date
* Maintaining the security and safety of the building during quiet hours
* Providing management cover when the Service Manager or Deputy are not on shift
* Creating a calm and supportive atmosphere that feels like home
About You
You are kind, confident and able to stay calm under pressure. You understand the importance of treating every individual with dignity, especially during the night when reassurance and comfort mean the most.
Additional Requirements
* SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Completion of PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award
* Experience supervising staff and contributing to care planning, with basic IT skills
* PVG Scheme membership
* Registration with the SSSC
* Valid UK work permission
* Christian faith and ability to work within and uphold the Christian Ethos (occupational requirement)
