Job Title: Youth Offending Service Operations Manager
Location: Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3AR
Type: Contract
Duration: 24 months
Salary: £45.20 per hour (Umbrella)
Work Arrangements: Office-based with some remote working, 4-day working week (minimum 3 days on-site)
Responsibilities:
Ensure effective safeguarding of children, young people, families, and communities through the delivery of a youth offending service.
Lead and manage the team to provide high-quality, integrated services in compliance with national legislation and best practices.
Make decisions on complex cases within the youth offending service, focusing on areas such as harmful practices, gangs, serious youth violence, and whole family work.
Manage HR, performance, and resource allocation to empower staff and achieve service objectives.Requirements:
Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
Degree in Social Work or a youth justice professional qualification.Why Havering?
