Location: Northampton - NN12, NN13, NN11 and OX17
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour and 30p per mile
Shifts
7am - 1pm and 4pm - 9pm
Alternate weekend availability essential
Potential for school hours but need to have weekend availability

* Provide personal care and daily living support to our service users.
* Promote dignity, independence, and choice.
* Work closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
* Follow individual care plans to deliver safe, high-quality care.
What we’re looking for
* Caring, compassionate, and reliable individuals.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in care is desirable, but full training will be provided.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Must be able to provide two references and complete an enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide safe, compassionate, and effective care tailored to each service user’s specific needs and diagnosis.
* Read and follow the service user’s care plan before undertaking any duties.
* Build positive, respectful, and professional relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
* Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all service users.
* Be sensitive to emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
* Follow organisational policies on medication, safeguarding, and staff conduct.
* Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly.
Personal Care Duties
You may be required to support with:
* Washing, bathing, and use of bath aids.
* Assisting with grooming (e.g. shaving, washing hair, nail and oral care).
* Dressing and undressing.
* Pressure area care and catheter care.
* Toileting, including colostomy care.
* Safe moving and handling of service users.
* Making and changing beds.
