Typical Shifts are: 20:30 - 08:00 working 3 shifts a week including alternate weekends

Role overview
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Service context
Our 11 bed residential service on the outskirts of Taunton has a calm and fun feel about it. With a welcoming and friendly environment, you can be sure that no two days will be the same!
As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.
Responsibilities
* Assist with bedtime routines, including personal care and monitoring residents through the night
* Complete regular checks throughout the night to ensure safety and wellbeing
* Perform light domestic duties as required
* Support individuals to gain more independence in daily activities
* Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality care
Qualifications and values
* Ideally hold a full UK driving licence
* Resilient, flexible and composed in approach
* Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma
