Their Bury St. Edmunds-based team is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join their successful administration team. Purpose of the role
To provide senior-level support to Financial Planners and Directors, ensuring clients receive high-quality service. The role involves coaching team members, maintaining accurate client records, and following internal systems and processes consistently.
Key responsibilities
* Generate and compile documents for client review packs and check packs.
* Deliver proactive support to Financial Planners and Directors, assisting with urgent and technical issues.
* Ensure clarity and accuracy in client correspondence, including policy analysis and liaising with providers.
* Maintain communication with team members about progress, escalating issues as needed.
* Hold weekly review meetings with Financial Planners.
* Support client meetings by presenting relevant information.
* Conduct pre- and post-meetings reviews, delegating tasks appropriately.
* Coach and develop junior team members.
* Assist with complex product understanding and procedure development.
* Work with platforms and providers to manage client holdings, authorising and checking inputs.
* Generate suitability letters and support team learning activities.
* Manage client instructions and undertake project activities to streamline processes.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and liaise with the Compliance Manager.
Personal Specification
* Diploma qualified or equivalent experience.
* Relevant management or training qualifications.
* Strong understanding of systems and processes.
* Experience in providing accurate financial administrative support.
* Proven ability to develop others and handle complex queries.
* Knowledge of pensions and investments.
