When you join us as an apprentice, you will:
* Complete an apprenticeship qualification relevant to the role, to suit your current education level.
* Join us on our Trainee Development Programme, where you will be given the training and tools to develop your skills through a series of modules over an 18-month period followed by a graduation event.
What could your day look like?
The CAD Trainee Technician will participate in creating a safe working environment on assigned projects and act as an assistant for project BIM technical requirements.
This will include:
* Understanding the impact of design in lifting and ALM
* Surveying duties using our inhouse FARO scanner.
* Assist in asset layout during early design development.
* Supply chain engagement for engineering solutions
* Able to read P&ID’s and apply to coordinated models.
* Knowledge of pipe fittings and materials
* Understanding fabrication processes and consideration of constructability
* Undertake Risk Assessments to aid with design.
* Assist the engineering team with TQ assessments.
