Are you a confident Scheduler or Service Coordinator looking for a fresh challenge in a well-established, global organisation? We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful company based in Uxbridge, and they’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the scheduling function to help deliver an outstanding service to their customers.
About the Role: You’ll be a key liaison point between customers, engineers, and the internal service team. Your job will be to coordinate maintenance visits, installations, and inspections—making sure engineers are in the right place at the right time and that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
This is a busy and varied Scheduler role, ideal for someone who enjoys spinning multiple plates and thrives on making things run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating engineers’ diaries and allocating jobs from the service desk
* Managing scheduled maintenance plans and inspections (e.g. boiler checks)
* Supporting pre-installation planning for larger projects
* Handling incoming calls from engineers and offering logistical support
* Monitoring scheduling tools to adjust for changing priorities throughout the day
* Liaising with customers and keeping them updated on appointments or delays
* Creating and sending service quotes when needed
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
* Developing strong relationships with customers and providing excellent service
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a scheduling, planning or dispatch role
* A natural organiser who thrives under pressure and enjoys multitasking
* Customer-focused, with clear and professional communication skills
* A proactive, team-spirited approach with a problem-solving mindset
* Someone who enjoys getting stuck in and making things happen
