Position: Stores / Lineside Operative
Location: Omagh
Reporting to: Stores Supervisor
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will manage and control bought-in parts (BIP’s), including ordering, receipting, and issuing, at the main Production Stores and Lineside locations. Stock rotation, quality, and stock counts will be key responsibilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Operate forklift, pallet, reach trucks, and other machinery as required.
* Issue stock to production using pick lists.
* Manage kanban parts levels at line locations using set order levels.
* Support production as part of a cross-departmental team.
* Coordinate production shortage requests for bought-in parts.
* Use Oracle-based systems to check quantities, transfer goods, and set receiving locations.
* Assist in cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
* Complete documentation and administration for processes.
* Identify and eliminate stock inaccuracies to prevent financial adjustments.
* Rotate stock to ensure FIFO methods.
* Participate in TIP and continuous improvement projects.
* Follow safety practices in accordance with health and safety legislation and factory regulations.
* Collaborate with all Stores/Line-side personnel to support the entire factory.
What you’ll bring:
Experience & Qualifications
* GCSE level or equivalent at Grade C or above.
* Good IT skills, including MS Office.
* Experience in a busy stores or manufacturing environment, preferably with stock control experience.
* Experience with TMS, Oracle, or MRP systems is advantageous.
* Knowledge of inventory control, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
* Previous forklift experience is a plus.
* Full clean driving license.

* Team player capable of following instructions to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong numerical, literacy, and accuracy skills.
* Good customer service and communication skills.
* This role involves moderate to heavy lifting.
