Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Trainee Learning Support Assistant to work closely with our teaching staff to support students' learning and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the classroom, working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to teachers in the classroom.
* Assist students with their educational and personal development.
* Work with individual students and small groups to support specific learning needs.
* Help prepare and maintain classroom materials.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor and record students’ progress.
* Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Qualifications and Skills:
* A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Basic IT skills.
* Previous experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
