Overview
Night Support Worker role at TieTalent — Home Group partnership with Everyturn Mental Health and Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. Location: Whitehaven and surrounding areas. Status: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw). Salary: £24,638 to £24,850 per year (pro rata for part time) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan.

Responsibilities
* Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop independence and achieve goals documented in their support plans.
* Helping with daily living activities such as meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy and supporting moves to independent accommodation if appropriate.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Working closely with colleagues from other organisations to provide the best support when needed.

You bring
* Passion to support customers to live their best life, with attention to detail
* Experience of caring for others; previous care experience or caring for family members or children is valued
* Ability to use personal initiative, stay calm under pressure and have a resilient approach
* Flexible, personal approach; ability to listen and understand individual needs
* Vehicle insured for business purposes (we pay mileage)

* Shift patterns: waking nights; we may adjust start/finish times to meet customer needs
* Manage your own diary
* Even for night roles, regular daytime training and team meetings are held
* Ability to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and collaborate with colleagues
* Enhanced DBS check is required and paid for by us
