Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Architect to join our growing practice in the Storrington area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project leadership, and business development, with Revit proficiency being essential. This is a long-term career opportunity for someone looking to grow with the company, take on increasing responsibility, and progress into Associate/Director or Partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead high-profile architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and technical compliance.
2. Develop innovative design solutions using Revit (BIM proficiency is a plus) and oversee detailed technical documentation.
3. Manage client relationships, stakeholder coordination, and contractor liaison.
4. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the studio’s design culture.
5. Support business development, including bidding for new projects and nurturing client networks.
6. Ensure projects meet UK building regulations, sustainability standards, and planning requirements.
7. Play a key role in the strategic growth of the practice, with a clear pathway to Associate/Director or Partnership for high performers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* RIBA/ARB accredited with 7+ years of UK experience, including leadership roles.
* Expertise in Revit is mandatory (knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and BIM workflows preferred).
* Proven track record in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods and regulations.
* Excellent project management, client presentation, and team leadership skills.
* Business-minded approach with ambition to grow within the company.
