Overview
Swimming Pool / Lifeguard Team Leader role at Center Parcs UK & Ireland. Lead and support the management team to ensure the smooth running of all pool facilities within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.
Responsibilities
* Support the management team by ensuring the smooth running of all pool facilities
* Coach and develop all members of the team; conduct performance appraisals as required
* Ensure completion of necessary legal training in line with company standards
* Help drive retail sales and assist the Swimming Pool Manager in achieving financial targets
* Maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and guests through effective verbal and written communication
Essential qualifications
* RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification
* Good communication skills
* Supervisory experience in a similar position and environment
* Experience in managing people with good attention to detail
* Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
Desirable qualifications
* First Aid Certificate
* ISRM Pool Plant Course
* ISRM Higher Professional Diploma or similar leisure supervisor qualification
Hours and working pattern
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Hours and days can vary each week, but you will receive at least your contracted hours per period. Working hours include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis since the village is open 365 days a year.
