Service Advisor Vacancy - Independent Service Centre Leighton Buzzard
1. Position: Service Advisor
2. Location: Leighton Buzzard
3. Salary: Circa £30,000 (Negotiable with experience)
4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 in 2 Saturdays)
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy independent service centre, acting as the first point of contact for customers and a key link between the workshop and front-of-house.
This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be dealing with a mix of retail customers, service bookings, and ongoing workshop jobs, so organisation and communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Greeting customers and managing front desk operations
6. Handling incoming calls and booking work
7. Liaising between customers and technicians
8. Ordering parts and updating job progress
9. Managing schedules and ensuring smooth workflow
Requirements:
10. Previous Service Advisor experience within the motor trade
11. Strong communication and customer service skills
12. Confident in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment
13. Well-organised with good attention to detail
14. Able to build rapport with both customers and workshop staff
