Lead a School Shaping Futures
St Christopher’s School is a vibrant, ambitious and forward thinking special school at the heart of Wrexham. From September 2026, we will educate around 380 pupils aged 6–19 across two sites, each designed to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate and visionary Headteacher to guide our community through its next exciting phase of development.
About Us
St Christopher’s supports pupils with a wide range of additional learning needs through four specialist phases:
• Primary
• Complex Needs
• Secondary SLD/ASD
• 14–19 Provision
Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to deliver personalised, high quality education that promotes communication, independence, wellbeing and lifelong learning. Our curriculum is enriched through Forest School, hospitality and catering opportunities, swimming and cycling development, and varied vocational pathways. Strong partnerships with families and the wider community are central to our ethos.

As part of the 21st Century Schools Programme, we are preparing for a purpose built new school that will transform opportunities for pupils, staff and families. You will be supported by a skilled Governing Body, an experienced senior leadership team, passionate staff and strong multiagency partners who work closely to meet the holistic needs of our learners.
