Business Development Manager


Location: Remote (within -/+ 3 hours of UK)

Salary: £25,000-£40,000

We’ve built our reputation over 15 years by combining strategy, design, and technology expertise to deliver measurable results. Now we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow the next wave of client partnerships.


The Role

This is a hands-on role focused on driving new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and turning conversations into long-term clients. You’ll be the bridge between early interest and successful onboarding – ensuring every lead and partnership gets the attention and follow-up it deserves.

You’ll work directly with our leadership and strategy teams to:

* Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
* Build and nurture relationships with prospects and partners.
* Manage the sales pipeline from first contact to signed agreement.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships that generate referrals and collaboration opportunities.
* Coordinate proposals, follow-ups, and meeting preparation.
* Support marketing activity, outreach campaigns, and partner initiatives.


We’re looking for someone who thrives on building genuine connections, understands consultative sales, and can keep multiple conversations and partnerships moving forward with structure and intent.

* Consistent follow-up and visible progress on every lead.
* Strong collaboration with strategy, marketing, and leadership teams.

About You

* Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in digital, ecommerce, or agency services.
* Comfortable managing both client and partner relationships end to end.
* Skilled at identifying win-win opportunities and building trust with stakeholders.
* Strong communicator and relationship builder.
* Confident using modern sales and CRM tools.
* Organised, proactive, and motivated by measurable progress.
* Curious about ecommerce, digital strategy, and the wider tech landscape.


Remote Readiness

* Comfortable working in a remote-first environment using tools like Slack, Google Meets, and Loom.
* Self-motivated and proactive in managing your workload.
* Have a suitable working environment for remote work and productive collaboration.
* Willing to travel occasionally for team and client meetings.

* Initial Conversation (30 mins):
* Informal chat to get to know you and answer questions about JH.
* Practical Discussion (60 mins):
* How you approach business development and partnerships, with examples and a short scenario.
* Final Conversation (30 mins):
* Meet Jamie (CEO) and a team member – culture, ways of working, fit.
* Decision & Offer:
* We move fast and give feedback quickly. Most processes wrap within two weeks of the first call.
