Our client is a family-owned company and leading FMCG manufacturer based in the Suffolk area.
Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and install agricultural machinery, systems, and vehicles across multiple sites, with a mix of workshop and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service and repair tractors, trailers, and cutting machinery
* Install and maintain feeders, drinkers, heaters, water/gas lines
* Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults (230v/415v & vehicle electrics)
* Perform light plumbing and electrical work
* Respond to breakdowns and support system installs
* Assist the Agricultural Maintenance Manager as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Mechanical engineering background (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent)
* City & Guilds 3905 or similar in vehicle mechanics
* Hands-on experience with agricultural machinery
* Basic plumbing and electrical skills
* Strong problem-solving and self-motivation
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in agriculture, plant, or service maintenance
* Able to stay calm under pressure and juggle varied tasks
* Good communication and independent working
