Ecologist – Gloucester

Key Responsibilities:
7. Carrying out a wide range of field surveys, including protected species and habitat assessments
8. Preparing clear and concise ecological reports, including PEAs, PRAs, EcIAs, and input to EIAs
9. Supporting the delivery of ecological inputs on multi-disciplinary projects
10. Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and planning authorities
11. Assisting with the preparation of fee proposals and tenders
The ideal candidate will have:
12. A relevant degree in Ecology or a related subject
13. At least one season of ecological field survey experience
14. Strong report writing and communication skills
15. A good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
16. A full UK driving licence
