You will be joining a privately-owned utilities contractor operating within the water industry. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Chlorination and Pressure Tester to join their team.
Your new role
As a Chlorination and Pressure Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out chlorination and pressure testing on newly installed water mains and pipelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role that involves working across multiple sites within the Severn Trent Water region (predominantly within the West Midlands), liaising with site teams and maintaining accurate records of all testing activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing chlorination and disinfection of water mains
* Conducting pressure tests to verify pipeline integrity
* Ensuring compliance with Severn Trent Water specifications and health & safety protocols
* Completing detailed reports and documentation for each project.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience in chlorination and pressure testing within the water industry
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable) and CSCS (desirable) cards
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
