A South London based event and experiential design production company is on the look out for a Production Director / Head of Projects / Project Director. They deliver industry leading design and build, collaborating with well known creative agencies and brands, along with delivering their own projects too.
This is a truly exciting role for a strong management professional with an extensive background in delivering projects in the events, experiential, festival, retail, hospitality and art installation spaces. Responsibilities
* Line manager to projects team including managing the overheads; TOIL, overtime, holiday approval etc. (6 full time staff)
* Manage all new business inbound enquiries and delegate to the project team accordingly.
* Monitor project team schedules and resources.
* Overseeing quotes and ensuring profit margins are on track to deliver.
* Quality control work of projects team including proactively identifying and resolving project issues including identifying and mitigating project risks.
* Communicating project progress and status with HOD’s.
* Financials – working with the finance team to ensure all invoices and company financial position is accurate.
* Developing and implementing project management methodologies and best practices such as project charters, risk mitigation plans, policy and procedure manuals, and project status reports.
* Conducting project reviews and lessons learned to improve future projects.
* Providing guidance and mentoring to project team members.
* Provide introduction and manage new members on the projects team.
* Provide creative direction support to the design team for new business pitches.
