English Teacher (KS3/KS4) – Full Time
Start Date: September 2026Location: Kirkham (PR4)
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our successful and supportive English department from September 2026. This is a full-time position suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while ensuring strong academic progress for all students. Experience of teaching at Key Stage 5 is desirable, although not essential.
The successful candidate will:
* Be a qualified teacher with QTS
* Have experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice
* Be committed to raising achievement and promoting high expectations
* Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
