This is a varied and rewarding opportunity within our People Services team, where you’ll provide high-quality, confidential and customer-focused administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a permanent part‑time (32 hours per week covering 5 days per week, Mon‑Fri) role.
Responsibilities
* Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, changes and leavers.
* Prepare accurate employment documentation and maintain compliant employee records.
* Administer learning and development activity, inductions and training systems.
* Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, absence processes and occupational health activity.
* Support reward, recognition and allowance processes.
* Provide meeting, committee and minute–taking support where required.
* Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to colleagues and managers.
* Support People Services projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Previous administrative experience within a People or HR environment, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and digital systems.
* Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* A positive, approachable and professional manner.
Desirable Skills
* CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
* Experience within the social housing sector.
* Minute‑taking and report production experience.
* Knowledge of HR systems (Iris or Cascade experience is a plus).
