Requirements
Must have:
- Experience in a field-based service, maintenance, or service role - Familiarity with ATM or payment systems - Experience with networking / Wi-Fi equipment - Knowledge of CCTV / ANPR cameras - Background in access control or security systems - Familiarity with ticket kiosks / machines - Understanding of intercom systems - Experience with EPOS equipment - Knowledge of software-driven or PC-based hardware systems - Basic electrical knowledge and strong networking fault-finding ability - Confident working with hardware, cabling, and low-voltage systems - Ability to troubleshoot software issues, install updates, and configure system settings - Comfortable using diagnostic tools, remote support software, and system interfaces - Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation - Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach - Comfortable travelling and working independently - Full UK Driving Licence - Strong networking and smart device experience - Basic electrical experience - Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) - Strong written and verbal English - Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (Desirable) - Recognised qualification in network engineering (Desirable)
Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on parking and access control systems - Support installation and upgrade projects when required - Diagnose electrical, networking, and software-related faults - Configure system software, update firmware, and perform basic application-level troubleshooting - Work independently, managing your own schedule across the Midlands - Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times
