£22.21 per hour PAYE

About the role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to support a public sector organisation in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time temporary role covering sickness, with the potential to extend.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Working pattern
First 3 months fully office-based
Potential for 1 day per week working from home thereafter (based on performance)
Approx. 80% office / 20% site-based work
Key responsibilities
* Managing statutory compliance contracts across multiple sites
* Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Ensuring all works meet compliance and safety standards
* Conducting site visits and quality checks
* Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders
* Monitoring performance and driving service improvements
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar role
* Strong knowledge of M&E services
* Experience managing statutory compliance contracts
* Ability to manage contractors and site-based activities
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Standard DBS required
