St Barnabas Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team. Working as a member of staff within our Trust you will be a part of a team and play an active role in ensuring the learning and development of all our young people.
The working hours for this role are expected to be, 0.4. 08:30 - 15:30 Thursday and Friday.
The expected start date is as soon as possible.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include, planning and teaching well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school's plans, curriculum, and schemes of work. You will need to produce teaching and learning materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability. It is important that the successful candidate can set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge children by demonstrating good subject and curriculum knowledge. Reinforcing the school ethos, e.g., expectations of behaviour within class and elsewhere on the school site while implementing effective behaviour management strategies in line with the Trust Policy are all qualities that the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate.

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
