Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HSCP’s planning team. We are recruiting a planning support officer, on a fixed term contract of up to 12 months, providing administrative and project support to the planning team. The post-holder will support a number of projects and HSCP wide planning functions, as directed by the Head of Service, Senior Planning Manager and other planners. There is also scope to support the department’s communications and public engagement activities, specifically in relation to the development of the HSCP’s Joint Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative and project support to the planning team, including:
* Meeting organisation and support, including collating meeting papers and minute taking
* Diary management
* Personnel support (payroll and SSTS)
* Document formatting
* Basic understanding of project management principles (role of project plans and milestones)
* Dealing with and prioritising multiple requests for support and assistance
* Effectively liaising with multiple departments
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with following experience, skill and knowledge:
* Experience in meeting organisation and support
* Diary management experience
* Experience in personnel support (payroll and SSTS)
* Strong document formatting skills
* Basic understanding of project management principles
* Ability to prioritise multiple requests
* Strong liaison skills with multiple departments
Details
This is a part‑time post of 25.9 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements. This post is fixed term for 7 months, covering a period of maternity leave.
