Field Service Engineer – Industrial Combustion Location homebased with regional & occasional national travel Seeking engineers in Midlands, East Midlands, South East, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire Salary Basic negotiable typical earnings £60 – 80k depending on overtime car or van pension 25 days holiday 39 hours / door to door pay Overtime is not compulsory & very much optional although its generally always available The Person: Experienced working on large industrial burners (2MW and above) Industrial or commercial gas experience essential Some electrical skills and experience required Training and shadowing available for the right person but some prior qualifications & experience with industrial gas and burners required. May suit ex marine / navy engineers. The Job: A mix of routine scheduled service, breakdowns / repairs, installation and commissioning projects Work with industrial and commercial companies providing services for burners, combustion technology, packaged plant rooms, steam boilers, power generation. Electrical skills and experience required Regional / local work but required to cover other areas as required 4-5 nights p/month.
