Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for an experienced SSSTS Supervisor to oversee a team of Concrete Finishers on a long-term construction project based at Devonport Naval Base. This is a secure site, therefore all candidates must be able to provide a minimum of 3 years’ continuous employment history to meet site access requirements. The Role – SSSTS Supervisor (Concrete Finishers): * Supervising and coordinating a team of concrete finishers on site * Allocating daily tasks and ensuring work is delivered in line with programme deadlines * Overseeing all aspects of concrete works including finishing, curing, and quality control * Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations * Delivering site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks * Liaising with site management, engineers, and other trades * Monitoring workmanship to ensure it meets project specifications and standards * Identifying and reporting hazards, delays, or site issues promptly * Supporting the team with hands-on duties where required Requirements: * Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) (essential) * CSCS Card (essential) * Proven experience supervising concrete finishing teams * Minimum 3 years’ continuous employment history (essential for site clearance) * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good understanding of concrete works and site Health & Safety * Reliable, organised, and capable of leading a team effectively What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate (PAYE) * Overtime paid at enhanced rate after 39 hours * Weekly pay * Long-term, ongoing work * Opportunity to work with a leading UK contractor on a high-profile project This role is ideal for an experienced Concrete Finishing Supervisor who is confident managing site activities, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring a safe working environment.
