Specification Coordinator

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
Location: Swadlincote
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm

Full-time, permanent position

Role Overview:
The Specification Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the external specification team, ensuring client expectations are met through efficient communication and task management. The role involves following up on project leads, booking design meetings and CPD presentations, and managing specification platforms to secure product specifications. The Key Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
* Manage CPD enquiries and bookings, including issuing certificates
* Maintain accurate account and contact data
* Manage project schedules and follow up on Next Action Dates (NADs)
* Proactively contact architects, engineers, and design teams for meetings and CPDs
* Notify internal managers of key project schedule changes
* Manage account, including content updates, analytics, and reporting
* Use data insights to target relevant specifiers
* Research and log new project leads, monitoring progress
* Deliver excellent customer service and communication
* Monitor and respond to emails promptly
* Support office team in achieving individual, team, and company targets
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand product knowledge
* Champion health and safety in the workplace

The Required Skills and Experience of the Sales Administrator:
* Experience in an administrative role
* Experience with proactive telephone outreach and sales processes
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Organised and able to manage external calendars and meet deadlines
* Target-driven and ambitious
