Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with our partner SEN school to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their experienced and supportive team from September.
Our partner SEN school is a well-established, specialist provision catering to pupils aged 3–19 with a wide range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The school offers a highly supportive and inclusive environment, equipped with modern facilities such as sensory rooms, therapy spaces, and outdoor learning areas.The school places a strong emphasis on a holistic and child-centred approach to education, promoting independence, communication, and emotional wellbeing. With a highly experienced leadership team and a strong focus on staff development, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and caring community.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet a diverse range of learning needs. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to ensure each pupil receives the best possible support and education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering high-quality, individualised teaching to students with a range of SEN, including ASC, PMLD, and SLD.
* Developing and adapting lesson plans to suit the learning styles and needs of pupils.
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, setting realistic and challenging targets.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support.
* Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching students with SEN is highly desirable.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
