About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Create classic and signature cocktails to a high standard Provide outstanding customer service and build rapport with guests Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene standards Work collaboratively with bar and floor staff during busy service periods Required Experience Minimum 1–2 years’ experience working in a bar or hospitality environment Experience in high-volume or fast-paced venues preferred Previous experience making cocktails and handling bar equipment Experience with tills/POS systems and cash handling Desired Skills Strong mixology skills and knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure Strong attention to detail and presentation Confident upselling and product recommendation ability Team player with a positive and proactive attitude Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Education & Qualifications GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred Hospitality qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality) desirable Cocktail or mixology certification (e.g. European Bartender School) is a plus Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly rate generous tips Staff discounts on food and beverages Ongoing training and development opportunities Career progression within a growing hospitality group A fun, supportive, and energetic working environment
