We are recruiting for an experiencedCell Leader – for the Parachute Packing Team for a well established Aerospace company in Denham UB9
The ideal candidate will lead a team that delivers precision, quality and safety — where the work you do protects lives.
Our client is looking for a Cell Leader to manage and develop the Parachute Packing team at our Denham site.
* Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm | Early finish Friday at 12pm
* 37.5 hour per week

* Own transport preferred (shuttle bus available from Uxbridge)
Key Duties
* Lead, coach and motivate a team of circa 10 operators within the Parachute Packing cell
* Drive team performance against KPIs, quality, safety and delivery targets
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of airworthiness, compliance and quality
* Manage day-to-day resourcing, workload planning and shift coverage
* Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of team members
* Drive continuous improvement activities such as 5S and process improvements
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders and deputise for the Team Leader when required
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven people management experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
* Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance-driven environments
* Experience with continuous improvement methods (Lean / 5S desirable)
* Confident using IT systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office
* Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively
