We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in the heart of Hartlepool. * A degree in a science-related subject (Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Combined Sciences)
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* A passion for science and a commitment to helping students succeed
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential)
* A proactive and positive approach to teaching and student development
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons
* Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking and academic progress
* Assess, monitor and report on students' progress, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and teaching strategies
* Apply effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment
