Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Norfolk, is looking for an experienced Head of Sufficiency & Brokerage to join their team and play a crucial role in their children's services operations.
Position: Head of Sufficiency & Brokerage
Location: Norfolk
Salary: £450 a day umbrella
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm
Contract: 6-7 months (possible extension)
Hybrid or remote working available!
Key Responsibilities
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in placement sufficiency and brokerage, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and securing value for money.
* Provide strategic leadership, direction, and management, ensuring the local authority meets its statutory duties regarding sufficiency of placements for children in care and those on the edge of care.
* Lead on strategic market engagement and relationship management, with a focus on holding the market to account and fostering improved communication between social work teams, commissioning, sufficiency teams, and the wider market.
* Responsible for supporting interventions with individual young people and providers where situations have escalated, ensuring additional accountability is in place to maintain quality and safe homes for young people.
