Employment Senior Associate - Manchester City Centre - Up to £85,000 salary
We are partnering with a highly regarded National commercial law firm to recruit a Senior Associate (Employment) for its Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a top tier Legal 500 Employment team, led by a highly respected practitioner with over 20 years’ experience.
The opportunity
You’ll work closely with a diverse client base, advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The role offers high-quality work, genuine responsibility, and the chance to contribute to the growth and success of a supportive, collaborative team.
Key responsibilities
* Advising on all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, whistleblowing, grievance and disciplinary issues, dismissals, redundancy, TUPE and tribunal claims
* Drafting contracts, policies, and other employment documentation
* Providing transactional support to corporate colleagues
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives
About you
* Qualified Employment Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE
* Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Strong client-handling and business development skills
* A team player with the confidence to take on responsibility and deliver at a high standard
